This notice also covers use of your personal information when you purchase, or are a recipient of services purchased, through Surrey Music’s box office. Who we are

Music Innovations Limited (t/a Surrey Music) is the legal company that operates our three choirs known as Elmbridge Choir, Elmbridge Ladies Choir and Surrey Rainbow Choir, offering services to customers and paid-up members through this website and through our private members-only website.

We collect your personal information when you enter your details on forms on our website, when you contact us (in writing, by post, email, or posts and messages via the social media platforms that we officially support or endorse, or by phone). We also collect your personal information when you use (or are a recipient) of our services purchased online or through Surrey Music box-office, at concerts or at rehearsals.

When you complete any ‘contact us’, ‘Join Us”, “Subscribe Now (By Invitation Only)” or “Become a Friend” form online

When you contact us via this website, by completing an enquiry or ‘contact us’ form, ‘Join Us’, “Subscribe Now (By Invitation Only)” or ‘Become a Friend’, we may need to use your personal details to deal with your query or registration request. The details may include your name, address, landline telephone/mobile number, and/or email and IP address.

In the case of an enquiry on behalf of a company we may collect your company’s name, your position in the company; the company’s address, company’s email address and telephone number.

We use your personal information only to send you the information you have requested from our company. Unless your enquiry results in the purchase of a service or product, a registered membership to one of our choirs, or you have selected to receive news and promotional marketing which may be of interest to you, your personal details will be deleted from our systems 12 months after the conclusion of your enquiry.

Purchases of services or products and registration of membership to our choirs

When you purchase a service via this website, or through the Surrey Music box office or at our concerts or rehearsals in the UK, we will use the data supplied to fulfil your order or process your membership.

Where this involves the provision of an ongoing service (for example, membership of a choir) we will hold your details securely for the duration of the paid-up registration.

Your personal details will be deleted from our systems 36 months after the conclusion of the service or product purchased.

  • provide you with products, services and membership benefits that you may request from us or the Surrey Music box office
  • check your identity to protect security and prevent fraud, when you use our services
  • improve and develop our services

Storing your bank and payment card details

We do not hold any bank payment card details, these are processed and held securely by our nominated payment partner, PayPal.

Your personal information is only used by Surrey Music for the purpose(s) detailed above.

We never share your personal information with anyone else, unless you have specifically asked us to share, for example when you purchase tickets for a concert via this website and you specifically ask to be added to a third-party’s mailing list during the checkout process
